Real Madrid planning to sack Coach Julen Lopetegui before El Clasico

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will sack Julen Lopetegui after Tuesday’s champion league match alongside Viktoria Plzen, no matter how the outcome of the game. According to El Chiringuito’s Josep Pedrerol.

“Julen Lopetegui will coach Real Madrid for Tuesday champion league match and it all points towards him not doing so at the Camp Nou. Jose Mourinho is the favourite candidate board want and the club is thinking about assigning Solari till Jose Mourinho is free to coming back to the Spanish capital. Solari would be a short-term option,” said Josep Pedrerol.

“Roberto Martinez and Conte are also another candidate the job,” said the reporter.

El Chiringuito might not be the best reliable TV show out there, but it definitely seems that Julen Lopetegui’s stay as Madrid’s coach is going to an end. Maybe Madrid decides to be patient and wait until next Sunday right after match against Barcelona to decide on Lopetegui’s future. Only a win against Barcelona can save him if that occurs.
