Both Radja Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic suffer injuries ahead of Barcelona match
Serie A side Inter Milan warmed up for Champions League
match against Barcelona on coming Wednesday by defeating AC Milan 1-0 at the
San Siro on Sunday.
A last minute goal from Mauro Icardi sealed all three points
for the Nerazzurri and will give them lots of confidence ahead of their trip to
the Camp Nou for champion league match against Barcelona.
Though, it wasn’t a save evening for Inter, as they also
suffered some injury problems during the match.
Midfielder Radja Nainggolan was substituted after just 30
minutes with an ankle problem. Early reports suggest the Belgian player has pick-up
a sprained ankle.
Ivan Perisic also departed in the second half, and he looked
to be limping as he was substituted by Keita Baldé Diao on 70 minutes of game.
The game was like finishing in goalless draw until Icardi
headed home the winner to move Inter Milan to third place in the Italian league
table.
Barcelona have won all of their Champions League matches so
far this season and will be hoping to make it through to the knockout stages
for the first time since 2012.
