Chelsea Manager, Sarri sends Higuain message after Chelsea move failed
Higuain 30 year old joined Serie A side AC Milan on a
season-long loan from Juve in August but Ex-Napoli boss has revealed he wanted
to bring Higuain to West London.
"I have huge respect for Sarri (Chelsea manager) but he
was the only one who wanted me at Chelsea,’ the Higuain said after joining AC
Milan.
Ex-Real Madrid star thrived under Sarri at Napoli but Sarri has
described the Argentina international as a ‘goal machine’.
Asked if he wanted Higuain to join him at Chelsea, Sarri
told Corriere dello Sport: "Whatever response I give will be considered
wrong and put words into my mouth.
What I can say is that I feel Gonzalo Higuain left Napoli
early. If he had stayed for another season, I think we could’ve been in a
condition to win. "Higuain was a part of the fantastic materials we
created, we understood each other very well.
"It was perfect synchronicity and the regrets will
probably stick with us.
"I miss Gonzalo Higuain a great deal. I miss him
because he will keep scoring goals until the day he dies.
"He is a goal machine, a systematic and automatic
jackpot.’
Gonzalo Higuain has found back of the net six times in seven
appearances for AC Milan across all competition.
