Injuring update: Mo Salah doubts for Reds after suffers injury on international duty
Mo Salah, 26 year old PFA player of the year was remove in
stoppage time of Egypt's 4-1 win against Swaziland on Friday night, having gone
down to the turf minutes earlier with what appeared to be an problem with his
left leg.
Four different players were on the score-sheet for Egypt,
but Salah's goal was the pick of the bunch after scoring from a corner in the
Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Egypt's assistant coach Hany Ramzy did not believe the injury
to be serious, telling BeIn Sports: "The initial diagnosis of the Egypt
national team medical staff is that Mo Salah suffered a muscular injury, he
will be examined to know the details, but in my opinion it is not
dangerous."
Salah has netted 3 times in 11 appearances so far this term.
