Felipe Anderson Makes Brave Personal Forecast for the Present Season

West Ham Talisman Felipe Anderson has disclosed that he believes the current season under Manager Manuel Pellegrini could be his best campaign as a player, football.london quote.

The 25-year-old has stunned in recent weeks for the London side, finding the back of the net two times for the Hammers in the 4-2 win against Burnley, before firing in the equaliser away at Huddersfield Town before the international break.

Anderson quit Lazio to join London side for a club record fee £36 million in the summer, but struggled to gain a regular starting spot at the London Stadium under Manuel Pellegrini in the opening weeks of the campaign.

But, after impressing the Hammers’ faithful in November, the Brazilian, talking in the club’s match-day programme ahead of the match against Premier League Champion Manchester City, disclosed this campaign could be his best season, if he can keep performing consistently.

“It was important for me to know the manager trusts and believes in me and that I can be the player he wants me to be.

He gives me peace on the field when things aren’t going as we want it and it gives me strength to keep working even when matches aren’t going well for me individually.

I believe and I work on what I know what I can do so that this can be my best campaign as a player.”
Anderson ready to start for the Hammers against Guardiola’s side and may well show to be the key player in the Hammers’ push for a first eight finish.
