Man City must improve to become real title contenders - Pep Guardiola

Manchester City Head Coach Pep Guardiola sent a message that will depress Manchester City 's title rivals as he request for more from his players after defeating Tottenham Spur.

Man City tops the premier league table after getting 26 points from 10 matches, Man City one of three teams undefeated after more than a quarter of the campaign and top Liverpool with goal.

Away win at Spur on Monday night, add to their first away win against Arsenal on the opening day and a point against Liverpool, Manchester City's contenders are still looking for their weaknesses.

Pep Guardiola claims to have spotted several - even when taking the awful field into account - and will work on turning them into strengths in time for the business end of the season.

Pep Guardiola said "We still have much to improve, that is how feeling”.

"To play a match on that field is not easy and that's why there were many errors that normally should not happen but even knowing that I had the feeling we have much to improve individually and collectively to be a real title contender.

"Of course, we are a very good side but when you go to perform in the last third of the Premier League and particularly in Europe we request other issues and points that we still don't have.
